Freda White
Owner & Licensed Hearing Aid Specialist
Ms. Freda White has a Biology degree from the University of Mary Washington. She was a research specialist, Biology teacher and has been a Hearing Instrument Specialist for over 15 years. She is extremely excited to help past and future patients in her own location. She is passionate about helping others and committed to continuing the Wagner tradition of improving the hearing of all in the greater Culpeper community.
Freda shares her life with Gregory, the love of her life and his son. She has 4 grown successful children and 8 grandchildren who are the light of her life. She enjoys dinners with family, trips to the beach, time spent with friends, being a “bonus mom” to a free-spirited 8 year old and seeing her grandchildren laugh and smile.
Teresa Lough
Owner & Licensed Hearing Aid Specialist
Teresa Lough, originally from Brentwood, NY, received her business degree from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA. She has worked in finance and customer service for over 35 years. Teresa is a licensed hearing instrument specialist and has been working in the hearing care field for over 4 years.
Teresa has had hearing loss since birth. She understands the struggles and concerns of the hearing-impaired community and is passionate about educating the whole community about hearing health. Teresa has been married to Logan for 39 years, has 4 children, and has a huge extended family that she adores. Her happy place is talking and laughing with family and friends, traveling, and worshipping God.
Maya Watson
Patient Care Coordinator

Maya Watson, joined our team full-time in February 2024. She has had her cosmetology license since 2017 and has worked in customer service for over 8 years. Maya has many family members with hearing loss and embraces the importance of good hearing health.
Aside from her love for helping others, she enjoys spending her free time sunbathing on the beach, going to festivals, and spending time with her family. Maya's immediate family consists of her partner, Jared, and their two dogs, Nugget and Mav- whom she adores.
Our History
Wagner Hearing Aid Centers Incorporated was founded in 1971 by Robert V. Wagner. Upon his retirement, his son, Bruce R. Wagner became president of the company. Bruce Wagner is an Audiologist and Hearing Instrument Specialist. The Culpeper office was opened in 1978 as a subsidiary of their main office in Charlottesville.
The Culpeper Location of Wagner Hearing Aid Centers was acquired by Help U Hear Hearing Aid Center LLC in August 2020. Mr. Wagner hand-picked owners Freda White and Teresa Lough because of his desire to continue to provide the best Hometown service to his customers.
